I’m a fine art photographer and designer based in eastern North Dakota. Recently, I’ve exhibited images at the North Dakota Museum of Art and the Plains Art Museum.
I follow my curiosity no matter where it takes me, it’s my north star.
At times, you could say I take myself too seriously. But if I don’t believe in what I’m doing, why should anyone else?
In 2026, I was announced as a Hasselblad Heroine recipient, one of 4 total women to receive this distinguished honor. Through this program, artists are encouraged to explore their creativity through the use of Hasselblad’s legendary camera systems. (I’m still pinching myself)
I use traditional and experimental photographic methods
like scanner as camera (or scanography) which renders 2D/3D objects as high resolution digital negatives. That’s a nerdy way to say it creates images that are literally larger than life.
Portraits that reward sustained viewing
The longer you stay with an image, the more detail comes into focus. Recently, I’ve transitioned into medium format to capture as much detail as possible, so don’t be afraid to zoom in.
