Wild Beauty, 2022

This series explores themes of stillness in chaos, those precious moments of serenity between the loud cacophony of our dailyl lives. Collaborating closely with Steph Leininger of Botanica Floristry, we envisioned a serene, immersive experience that honors not only the beauty of nature but the artistry of every creative involved.

From the outset, I approached this project from a holistic perspective—diagraming lighting setups, creating a story, and developing wireframes to ensure each image conveyed our shared vision. Steph’s sustainable floral design transformed our set into a living, breathing forest, and our talented models brought emotional depth that elevated every frame.

My post-production process focused on micro-retouching—preserving the integrity and authenticity of the models’ skin while subtly refining each photo. This attention to detail allows each image to remain both honest and ethereal.

This shoot represents more than a portfolio piece—it’s a celebration of craftsmanship, collaboration, and the quiet power of beauty to ground and inspire.

In My Dreams, 2015

In this series, we follow Tara, the protagonist, as she journeys through a haunting dreamscape. Drawn into a shadowy forest, she becomes increasingly aware of a mysterious dark creature silently stalking her from the shadows. As Tara ventures deeper into the woods, tension builds and escape seems impossible. Just as the dark presence—Kristi in her sinister form—closes in, Tara spots a narrow opening glowing with light. She races toward it, breaking free from the nightmare. On the other side, bathed in gentle light, stands Kristi once more—transformed into a radiant guardian—watching over Tara’s sleeping form and protecting her from harm.
