Who would have thought that I’d be quoting CSI Miami’s Horacio Caine in a blog post talking about usability and research, but here we are. Throughout my time as a designer, I’ve figured out how to take the guesswork out of the process so I’m no longer scratching my head or throwing spaghetti at the wall.

As a designer, I feel it’s extremely important to go back and re-evaluate the work I do to ensure that I’ve done my best to deliver the MVP (minimum viable product). This post focuses on breathing fresh life into a previous case study focused on task management.

Swipely is a productivity tool I designed as a case study and audition piece back in 2017 while I was looking for a new job as a product designer. Swipely’s main use case is to track and manage tasks, both internal and external, so that a user can visualize the work they need to do and how close they are to achieving their goal of having everything done.
